Folk Hero Floyd Norman !

So who is Floyd Norman ?

I was flipping through Netflix documentaries, looking for something to watch while I run on the treadmill and stumbled across a documentary (Floyd Norman: An Animated Life) about a guy named Floyd Norman.

I've always been a fan of animation...especially it's genesis. For those who don't know, animation..in the old days...involved a painstaking process of hand-drawing every frame.

It would literally take years for the the Disney animation studios to produce an animated feature.

Floyd Norman was and still is a pioneer in the animation industry and was involved with such classics as Sleeping Beauty, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Jungle Book, Toy Story 2, and Monsters Inc.

He contributed as a story board artist, a layout artist and story contributor.
