LONDON - Alan Rickman, an admired British actor of the past 30 years, has died in London aged 69.
His death was confirmed by his family on Thursday. Famous roles included the first installment of Die Hard and the role of Professor Snape in the Harry Potter films.
He had been suffering from cancer.
